Some fans are worried about Fable: The Journey and some say early demos have not gone very well. Fable: The Journey is a change. It’s a Kinect game. This means you play a wizard.
Why?
The Kinect could track your hands as if you were wielding a sword but it can’t give the impact feel of hitting a Hollowman. With magic gestures it is different.
Some key points from this pitch;
- Evil is winning. The corruption is in charge.
- As evil is winning in Albion there are new monsters, demonic entities and mutations.
- The world is three times larger; in part because you can travel more easily.
- Fable: The Journey follows Gabriel as a hero but tells Theresa’s story
What do you think? Are you tempted? Concerned? Willing to give the game a go?
Am I right in thinking you can only play as a boy in this one?
I don’t know for certain – but it certainly looks like that. There’s no mention of any female character unless it’s a bit like Mass Effect and you can pick male or female Gabriels.
