Weird Science is a John Hughes (writer and director) film from the 80s. Two friends manage to turn one of their action figures into a smokin’ hot woman played by Kelly LeBrock. It’s a right of passage for the two as they learn from her in ways they hadn’t intended.
Roll on a few decades and we encounter Hughes the Force. This is a 35 minute YouTube short film that succeeds in blending Star Wars with Weird Science and other Hughes movies. I was sceptical when I hit play – but, wait, it’s surprisingly good.
