Welcome to prime-time dungeon crawling. In the world of Xcrawl, adventuring is not a desperate trek through forgotten ruins. It is a multi-million-pound extreme sport televised live to millions of screaming spectators. Athletic crawlers brave lethal traps, fight bloodthirsty monsters, and dodge corporate sponsorships in custom-built arenas, all under the watchful gaze of the Dungeon Judge. If you win, you walk away with sports cars, lucrative brand deals, and national glory. If you fail, the cameras do not cut away.
Fanatical has teamed up with Goodman Games to assemble an enormous digital package spanning the entire history of the franchise. The XCrawl RPG Bundle collects 40 ebooks covering original d20 3rd Edition titles, the Pathfinder-powered Maximum Xcrawl, and the latest Xcrawl Classics (XCC) rules built on the Dungeon Crawl Classics engine. Created by Brendan J. LaSalle, Xcrawl blends classic fantasy adventuring with professional wrestling theatrics, modern television culture, and cut-throat corporate greed. Set in the North American Empire, a modern world ruled by a Roman Emperor where magic and monsters never vanished, dungeon delving has evolved into the empire’s favourite pastime. Players take on the roles of celebrity athletes who must balance tactical monster hunting with crowd appeal, post-match press conferences, and jersey-sponsorship endorsements.
The star of this bundle is Xcrawl Classics, adapted for the gritty, unpredictable mechanics of Dungeon Crawl Classics. The system injects swingy dice, wild spell misfires, and dangerous arena hazards into tournament play. On top of standard combat, players roll for Grandstanding, seeking to win the crowd’s favour for game-saving Mojo points or risking the audience’s wrath if a flashy manoeuvre blows up in their face.
Beyond XCC, this collection serves as a comprehensive archive of the game’s evolutionary history. You receive the original d20 3rd Edition material where the sport began, alongside the Maximum Xcrawl line tuned for Pathfinder 1E. Whether you prefer running legacy d20 rules, crunchier Pathfinder campaigns, or chaotic DCC sessions, this library contains enough event modules, tournament brackets, and city crawls to keep your gaming table in the ring for years.
Sign your contract, grease your armour, and step out into the lights before the broadcast goes off the air. The Fanatical XCrawl RPG Bundle runs until 11:59 PM UTC on Tuesday, 17 November 2026. All books are DRM-free and redeemed directly through DriveThruRPG, giving you permanent access to your digital bookshelf across phone, tablet, and PC.
