If you follow Geek Native on Facebook or Geek Native on Google+ then you would have seen a quirky video in which some crazy squirrels picked up lightsabers.
This video was put together by Bryan Harley. He got in touch. I took the chance to put five straight forward questions to him. They’re included below the video.
Q1. What were you thinking?
I was thinking, damn, those squirrels are absolutely losing their minds, I should give them lightsabers and record it.
Q2. How did you do it? Is the technology expensive or hard to use?
The technology for creating a tiny lightsaber is extremely dangerous and expensive. I would lose my government security clearances if I talked about it, sorry.
Q3. If you could arm two more animals with lightsabers which animals would you pick?
I have already armed pigeons and honey badgers. It was a bad idea.
Q4. If you could work on any special effects project what would it be?
Naturally, flying squirrels with lightsabers will have to be next.
Q5. Why do squirrels jump around like that?
No idea! They would be perfectly calm one moment, then doing triple back flips the next. I can only assume they’re training for an epic battle with the birds.
