Bundle of Holding has resurrected one of the largest and most ambitious megadungeons in the history of the Old School Renaissance. The Halls of Arden Vul bundle returns, offering a massive 1,100-page campaign setting from Expeditious Retreat Press.
Originally published in five volumes in 2020, The Halls of Arden Vul is designed for 1st-edition AD&D and other OSR systems. It is not just a dungeon; it is a fully realised subterranean city with a history stretching back millennia. The setting includes over 2,000 keyed encounter areas, 14 distinct NPC factions, and enough content to run a single group for years—or multiple groups who may never see the same room twice.
This Halls of Arden Vul bundle is available for a limited time and is scheduled to end on Thursday, February 12.

Arden Collection
The offer is structured as a single-tier “Arden Collection.” For $24.95, customers receive the complete digital edition of the megadungeon, which Expeditious Retreat Press states has a retail value of $109.
This price point is a fraction of the cost of the physical hardcovers, which run upwards of $300. The collection includes:
- The Halls of Arden Vul Complete
- The Maps of Arden Vul
The map pack includes all the megadungeon’s maps in both black-and-white (for GMs) and the traditional old-school blue (for players), formatted for virtual tabletops.
The dungeon itself is a “vertical city” featuring 10 main levels and 15 sub-levels. It is famous for its bizarre and specific encounters, ranging from “intelligent four-armed giant albino baboons” and “Olaf the Bee-Whisperer” to ancient Archontean secrets and a fully functioning arena where parties can trade and rest.
