Nightpath Publishing, the indie outfit responsible for the 5E-powered cyberpunk fantasy setting Entromancy, is changing direction. In a move that sees the publisher effectively “park” its roleplaying game output, the company is rebranding to Nightpath Studios to focus on guitar education and music gear.

The pivot marks a significant departure for the studio, moving from tabletop mechanics to musical instruments. M.S. Farzan, the creative force behind the company, confirmed to Geek Native that the RPG side of the business is being paused to allow for this new venture.
From Cyberpunk to Six Strings
According to a recent update, the transition to Nightpath Studios will formally take effect on January 1, 2026. From that date, the company’s offering will centre on guitar and music content, education, and services.
While the studio is stepping away from active RPG development, the existing library isn’t disappearing entirely into the ether. Nightpath Publishing games and content will remain available, though the format in which you can buy them is changing.
For collectors of physical media, the clock is ticking. Beginning January 1, 2026, physical products for Entromancy: A Cyberpunk Fantasy RPG, Entromancy: The Orichite Age Omnibus, Entromancy: Hacker Battles, and the card game Dolphins vs. Unicorns: Card-Based Espionage will no longer be available via storefronts such as DriveThruRPG or Amazon.
Digital formats for these titles will remain on virtual shelves. Additionally, both the physical and digital formats of Entromancy: Definitive Edition are set to remain available beyond the cutoff date. However, support for the Entromancy: Hacker Battles Digital Demo will be discontinued at the start of 2026.
A Sale to Clear the Decks
To mark the transition, Nightpath has launched a sale on its digital catalogue. Most Nightpath Publishing digital content on DriveThruRPG is currently 50% off. It is worth noting that this discount excludes the Definitive Edition and community titles released under the Entromancy Cryptographers Guild.
M.S. Farzan told Geek Native, “I hope people continue to enjoy the games and books we’ve lovingly crafted, and stick with us for the next venture!”
For those who have followed the development of Entromancy, from its initial hacking mechanics to the expansion of its lore via the Cryptographers Guild, this marks the end of an era for the current iteration of the game. Gamers looking to secure physical copies of the core books now have a defined window of opportunity before the studio fully embraces its musical future.
