The animation studio behind the adaptations of Critical Role’s campaigns has confirmed the release date for its own foray into tabletop gaming. Titmouse will release Drunkards, Druggies & Delinquents on Friday, November 28, Black Friday, exclusively through its online store.
Geek Native previously reported on the initial announcement and the subsequent pre-order opening for the title. Now, the studio has locked in the street date for the physical box set, positioning it as a holiday release for adult gamers.
While best known for animating The Legend of Vox Machina and Star Trek: Lower Decks, Titmouse is stepping away from established IP for this project. Instead, Drunkards, Druggies & Delinquents taps into the studio’s internal culture, offering a “fantasy role-drinking game” that leans heavily on the zine aesthetics of the early RPG scene.
A Zine-Style Dungeon Crawl
The game is described as a reaction against “crunchy” systems, prioritising improvisation and social chaos over tactical precision. Designed for 3 to 8 players, the system uses a “zine-style” Game Master guide that encourages “House Chaos” rules.
Players select from 12 classes that parody high-fantasy tropes through a lens of inebriation and vice. Archetypes include the “Whiskey Wizard”, “Blazebarian”, and “Druid of the Flower”. These characters face off against monsters such as “Weed Wraiths” and “Drugbears”.
Chris Prynoski, Titmouse Founder and President, along with the creative team, emphasised that while the theme is substance-heavy, the mechanics remain accessible to sober players.
Fully sober-friendly or play drunk or high. The only thing required is creativity.”
Mechanics of Mayhem

The box set includes custom adversary cards and item cards ranging from “Magic Edibles of Doubt” to “Cranky Talking Furniture”. The Deluxe Edition adds pre-generated character sheets for specific archetypes like the “Dwarven Hypeman”.
The mechanics appear to be designed for speed and low-friction play, with sessions estimated to last between one and three hours. This places it firmly in the “party game” sector of the RPG market, distinct from the long-form campaigns associated with the studio’s animated output.
Availability and Alternatives
Drunkards, Druggies & Delinquents carries a strict 21+ age rating (reflecting the US drinking age) and will be available for purchase exclusively on TitmouseStuff.com from November 28. It will not be available through general retail distribution.
For groups looking for rules-light, experimental, or zine-style RPGs that don’t necessarily revolve around drinking mechanics, the indie section of DriveThruRPG offers a significant catalogue of alternative titles available for immediate digital download.
