Digital storefront DriveThruRPG is expanding its physical product offerings with a new “Partner Shipping Program” (PSP). The move allows publishing partners to list their own inventory, such as books, dice, and cards, directly on the platform, sitting alongside their existing digital and print-on-demand (POD) titles.

However, there is a significant limitation at launch. The Partner Shipping Program is currently restricted to partners shipping from the United States to customers also within the U.S. This means international creators and customers are, for now, excluded from this new marketplace feature.
The program opens the door to a wider range of merchandise than DTRPG’s established POD service, specifically listing items such as dice, GM screens, apparel, and other roleplaying merchandise.
Unlike the site’s automated POD service, the new Partner Shipping Program puts fulfilment logistics squarely in the hands of the creator. When a customer buys a PSP item, the order is passed to the partner, or their chosen fulfilment partner, who is then responsible for packing and shipping it. DriveThruRPG notes that the shipping fee charged to the customer is passed directly to the partner to cover these costs.
Publishers will receive their standard royalty rate for these sales, based on their exclusive or non-exclusive status. DriveThruRPG notes that there are no setup fees to join the program.
This positions DriveThruRPG to compete more directly with other independent TTRPG fulfilment services and storefronts, leveraging its significant built-in audience of roleplaying fans. The platform states it welcomes over 20,000 new customers monthly, offering a substantial potential market for partners now able to list their physical inventory.
