Anime fans heading to MCM Comic Con in London this month are in for a treat, as Crunchyroll has announced it will host the first UK screenings for new seasons of two of the platform’s biggest shows.

The global anime brand will be at the Capital Stage on Sunday, 26th October, to screen the first two episodes of both One-Punch Man Season 3 and My Hero Academia FINAL SEASON. The back-to-back premieres will begin with One-Punch Man at 11 am, followed by My Hero Academia at 12 pm.
Alongside the exclusive screenings, Crunchyroll will have a significant presence on the convention floor. The booth, located at S610 in the South Hall, will feature a range of activities throughout the weekend, from October 24th to 26th.
Attendees can test their strength with a One Punch Man-themed punching game or try their hand at a character-guessing game based on the sprawling cast of My Hero Academia. The booth will also feature a photo wall for a ‘Crunchyroll Family Portrait’ and a separate photobooth.
In a move to boost subscriptions, Crunchyroll will offer a gift to current subscribers who visit the stand, while new fans will be able to sign up on-site.
MCM Comic Con, which began in 2002, is the UK’s largest celebration of pop culture, covering film, comics, gaming, and anime.
For those travelling to London for the convention, planning ahead can often save on stress and expense. MCM London is held at the ExCeL Centre in the city’s Docklands, an area well-served by public transport but where hotels can book up quickly. Sorting out accommodation and travel arrangements in advance is recommended. Sorry to say, you’re cutting it fine!
