Watchmaker Filippo Loreti is entering the Spider-Verse with an officially licensed, limited edition Marvel timepiece. The new watch, named The Web of Time, celebrates the iconic hero Spider-Man and is scheduled for release on September 25th.

The collaboration focuses on the core themes of Peter Parker’s story: responsibility, duty, and the concept of the everyday hero. A press pack from Filippo Loreti explains the design philosophy was to honour the character’s inspirational nature, stating, “in a world where unlimited power seems to give unlimited rights, it was time to put forward the Hero in the Everyday who carries his Strength as an Instrument of Duty.”
Limited to just 500 pieces, the watch translates these themes into its physical design. The dial features an embossed head of the superhero, with eyes that glow blue in the dark thanks to luminous paint. A silver web is integrated into the vintage-style applied indices, which also feature a small spider detail. The most playful touch is the second hand, which features a tiny figure of Spider-Man hanging upside down.
Beneath the sapphire glass, the timepiece is powered by a Seiko NH35 automatic movement, a reliable workhorse often found in craft brand watches. The 42mm case is crafted from brushed and polished stainless steel, offering water resistance up to 100 metres. The watch is finished with a blue Italian leather strap with contrasting red stitching, echoing Spider-Man’s classic colour scheme. An engraved Spider-Man logo adorns the case back.

The Web of Time will be available directly from Filippo Loreti later this week.
