A new trailer has been released for Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle, offering a glimpse into the upcoming feature-length film, which is slated for a cinema release in the UK and Ireland on September 12, 2025.
Crunchyroll, which is also the streaming home for the anime series, will be distributing the movie in partnership with Sony Pictures Entertainment.
What to Expect in Infinity Castle
This film marks the first chapter in a planned three-part cinematic trilogy. Fans can expect to see Akaza, a major antagonist from the series, featured prominently, as new key visuals have also been unveiled.
The movie will plunge Tanjiro Kamado and the Demon Slayer Corps into the heart of the demons’ stronghold, the mysterious Infinity Castle. For those who’ve been following the anime, Infinity Castle picks up after the Hashira Training arc, a rigorous programme designed to bolster the Demon Slayer Corps’ strength in anticipation of their ultimate confrontation with Muzan Kibutsuji. The synopsis reveals that Muzan himself appears at the Ubuyashiki Mansion, drawing Tanjiro and the Hashira into a perilous, unknown dimension.
The Demon Slayer narrative follows Tanjiro, a boy who joins the Demon Slayer Corps after his sister, Nezuko, is transformed into a demon. His journey has seen him grow in strength and forge bonds with fellow members Zenitsu Agatsuma and Inosuke Hashibira, battling numerous demons alongside powerful Hashira, such as Kyojuro Rengoku, Tengen Uzui, Muichiro Tokito, and Mitsuri Kanroji, in previous arcs.
