Paramount just dropped the final trailer for Novocaine, an action-comedy about a self-assigned hero who can’t feel pain and takes it upon himself to use those powers to save his love interest, but in completely off-the-chain gory ways.
Novocaine stars Jack Quaid (The Boys) and from what I’ve seen, he seems to be absolutely perfect for this role. The whole thing looks like a roaring good time! (And I swear there’s an episode of House where someone has this exact ‘can’t feel pain thing’ – the idea is fascinating and a bit scary!)
According to the description:
A mild-mannered introvert man named Nathan Caine (Quaid) is born with a rare genetic disorder that makes him impervious to physical pain. When his new beau is taken hostage in a bank robbery, his affliction becomes his superpower.
Check out the trailer below:
Directed by Dan Berk and Robert Olsen, the cast of Novocaine also includes Amber Midthunder, Ray Nicholson, Betty Gabriel, Matt Walsh, Lou Beatty Jr., Van Hengst, Conrad Kemp, and Jacob Batalon.
And you’ll be able to watch Novocaine when it’s released in cinemas from 14th March.
How are you feeling about the final trailer for Novocaine? Will you be watching next week? Comment below (Seriously, I get lonely).
