In case you missed the memo, Xenomorphs are coming – to EARTH! On Disney+, no less. And now, we’ve got the latest teaser trailer for Noah Hawley‘s Alien: Earth, where we get to see a spaceship hurtling towards Earth from the perspective of the xenomorph that’s actually onboard!
We’ve also got a new poster, featuring a tagline for the series reads: “We Were Safer in Space.” Which is… interesting. It’s difficult to imagine Earth as a more hostile environment than some of the ships featured in the Alien movies, especially when coming face-to-face with xenomorphs!
Anyway, I’m completely onboard with this new series, and from this teaser it looks like it’s going to be immensely fun and intense!
So, what’s actually going to be going on? Well, the synopsis reads:
When a mysterious space vessel crash-lands on Earth, a young woman (Sydney Chandler) and a ragtag group of tactical soldiers make a fateful discovery that puts them face-to-face with the planet’s greatest threat.
As members of the crash recovery crew search for survivors among the wreckage, they encounter mysterious predatory life forms more terrifying than they could have ever imagined. With this new threat unlocked, the search crew must fight for survival and what they choose to do with this discovery could change planet Earth as they know it.

Judging by the teaser, it doesn’t seem like the xenomorph is too keen to land on our home planet, and wants to get the hell off the ship before it does. It does make me wonder if we’ll see more takes from the xenomorph’s perspective, because that could be really quite fun – or maybe I’m just weird like that.
And don’t forget to check out the lovely poster art below. I’m so excited!

And Alien: Earth will be streaming on Disney+ this year – we’ll keep you updated about when!
