A new gameplay trailer for the Silent Hill 2 remake has been released by Playstation as part of its most recent ‘State of Play’ video stream announcement.
This time we get to see a lot more of the fighting action and foes the video game has to offer. Watching the trailer does bring back memories, so a good bit of nostalgic nightmare fuel fun for those who remember playing the original back in 2001.
The Blooper Team, in charger of developing the game, have confirmed that whilst the gameplay is being updated, there won’t be any change to the story. Chief Marketing Officer Anna Jasińska was previously quoted saying: “We are focusing on bringing the distinct, visceral atmosphere back in the modernized Silent Hill 2.”

My fully grown-ass adult self is watching this and thinking it looks like it might also be a good form of stress relief!
