Can you imagine a horror movie if it was directed by the Coen brothers? Got to admit, it’s not something I’d ever considered before, but apparently it’s happening and it sounds like it might be quite a thing!
Filmmakers Joel and Ethan Coen, known for films such as No Country for Old Men, Fargo, Burn After Reading, The Big Lebowski and Inside Llewyn Davis haven’t made a film together for a few years due to being busy with their own solo projects.
We knew it was probably only a matter of time before they collaborated again, but… for a horror movie? Shut up and take my money!
The news was shared by Ethan recently when he revealed he’d written a new script with Joel and that the pair were going to make the movie together. He said: “It’s a pure horror film, and it gets very bloody. If you like Blood Simple, I think you’ll enjoy it.”
Ethan’s wife Tricia Cooke also described the script for the movie as “horribly funny.” Intriguing.
