Vampire: The Eternal Struggle to cease production

White Wolf have pulled the plug on their vampire trading card game Vampire: The Eternal Struggle.

The game had been published since 1994 and White Wolf had been publishing the game since 2000. In a short statement to press White Wolf said that they had sought out someone to pick up the franchise but had been unsuccessful.

The Grand Masquerade in New Orleans will go ahead this year. The European Championship in Paris will also run – and some tournaments will continue for another year.

Vampire: The Eternal Struggle – orignally punished as Jyhad – was designed by Wizards of the Coast‘s Richard Garfield. It was Garfield’s follow-up to the run away hit Magic: The Gathering.
