All the Witches is a new tabletop RPG set in a fantasy land plagued with the dark magic of Discordance and is powered by an original system.
Witches use their magic to keep Discordance at bay, using 10 schools of magic and covens of allies in their struggle. There’s nearly a whole month left on the campaign, and it’s smashed Kickstarter goals.
The pitch for All the Witches, which needs a text version, begins by saying;
You are beautiful. You are valued. You are loved.
It then states that the game is made for those who escaped to fantasy worlds that now might feel abandoned by those who created them.
The team behind the RPG are Queer and BIPOC creators who want to give backers tools and resources to explore a new world full of adventures built by you and those close to you.
Characters are customisable with three different Hertigages, skills, abilities and magic from different schools. The idea is that all sorts of witch characters can be created rather than only a few.
Those three Hertigages are;
- Humans – created by the Sun.
- Spirits – created by the creature of the Void.
- Celesti – created by Humans and Spirits creating life together.
Role is the launch partner for All the Witches, a VTT and digital toolkit space challenger. Significantly, it’s not DriveThruRPG or Itch that will fullfil the digital edition of the game for backers but Role. The game will be compatible with other VTTs, though, such as Foundry and Roll20.
In All the Witches, rather than attempt to create an entire world of history and lore, we’re committing our resources to fully developing three different regions of the world. Each of these regions will be fully fleshed out: with maps, mysteries, and a plethora of adventures to go on. We want to provide groups with the opportunity to have entire campaigns in these regions, and by focusing on only a few small parts of the world, we can fully create settings that are as rich and detailed as you might find in a first party publisher’s book.
Backers who support with $30 or more get the PDF edition, original music, NPC and character tokens, stream overlays, emotes and all digital stretch goals. All the Witches is clearly a digital-first tabletop RPG.
At $50, you get your name added to the thank you section, buying a community copy, plus the rewards from before. At $200, you’re also getting a custom character or NPC token based on you and 5 community copies.
The expected fulfilment date is in April 2024.
