Geek Native has permission to reveal some content and layout of Jim Zub, Stacy King and Andrew Wheeler’s forthcoming Dragons & Treasures.
The official Dungeons & Dragons book is part of the Young Adventurer’s Guide series and is due on November 1st. It’s published by Ten Speed Press, an imprint of Random House.
Intended for younger readers, Dragons & Treasures is a guide to the mythic beasts and a one-of-a-kind course on their treasures, characteristics and features. After reading the book, fans will be more confident in weaving dragons into their stories as friends or foes. The suggested reading age is 8 to 12 years.
The 112-paged book has storytelling tips and strategies for dragon encounters and contains dramatic illustrations.
No creature is more fascinating and terrifying to an adventurer than a dragon! This illustrated guide takes a deeper look at the abilities, personalities, and treasure collections of every major dragon type in Dungeons & Dragons.
Experienced gamers, DM mothers and dads will recognise Jim Zub as a writer and comic book creator with an impressive collection of titles in his portfolio. This includes Skullkickers, a rather excellent comic book less well-suited for younger readers.
