Nyusha Iampolski works as an artist in an educational game company, wants you to feel better about yourself and is taking part in ZineQuest this year.
If you don’t have Coulrophobia, you can check up on other Nyusha games on Itch. Otherwise, we can speed straight to Planet Bimbo! A dozen others have, and the art journaling game edges towards funding on Kickstarter.
The premise is delightfully simple and genius; assign RPG scores to your meatspace clothes. Why? It’ll give you +5 confidence.
First, it’s worth reflecting on how Nyusha defines ‘bimbo’.
Being a bimbo is about asserting ultimate power over yourself. You dress exactly how you want, whether it be modest or revealing. You assert your sexuality exactly how you want, whether it be often or never. You follow your whims without fear of judgment. Your head is absolutely in the clouds, and why shouldn’t it be? That’s where the sunshine is.
In game mechanics (and, for me, the challenging part), you draw your current outfit onto a character template and see how completing each item helps you defeat the boss. You decide the stats.
The Planet Bimbo engine then determines your Brawl Score, and there are modifiers for buying second-hand, from a small business or going DIY. Why? Take the cash out of the hands of billionaires by being sustainable instead.
You can support the art game and the message it draws by spreading the news about it across the internet. If you’ve the cash, a pledge of $6 will get you a PDF copy.
Alternatively, $8 gets you a print-ready layered PSD file with the PDF so you can customise it before you print.
It costs only $12 for a print copy, but shipping and the cost of getting merch out of the States are added later. $15 if you want that and the Procreate file.
The top tier is $95, which gets you an original bimbo template of yourself for the game plus the previous rewards.
Delivery on the project is expected in January 2023.
