Zombie Queen Mary banned from London Underground

Here’s a good one. An advert for the London Dungeon has been banned by the ASA after it freaked out children using the London Tube station it featured in.

The ad was for the new 2010 Bloody Mary Tudo exhibit and featured in a row of static posters. Many people clearly weren’t expecting it to… well, give it a watch.

I’m sure the London Dungeon are happy as larry that the advert’s been banned. Ideal marketing. The video is bound to be a viral hit now.

Haha, brilliant. It wouldn't be so scary in a scary context – a haunted house or something where you're anticipating it, but… just a normal tube station, going about your business and then…. that? Having it in a row of static posters is a stroke of genuis. They were obviously looking for a ban. I wonder if they've hired one of Irn Bru's marketing team?
