Sega goes crazy – promotes mutant blue lump / Sonic “hat”

This blue object is a Sonic the Hedgehog hat. No, really. It is! It’s a magical hat that transforms from “what the heck is that!” to “that’s awesome!” with just the application of a beer (or one small brandy).

Let’s say you’ve had that beer (or one small brandy) and now fancy the so-called hat. To get it you’ll have to pre-order  Sonic Colors on Wii or (and) Nintendo DS. The Sega blog suggests you do so from GameStop. I’ve not checked to see if the deal is available elsewhere; if I was a GameStop rival and was also trying to get rid of these awesome/heck hats then I’d be pretty annoyed I wasn’t mentioned.
