Anti-zombie designs: Walking house model built from LEGO

Inspired by Theo Jansen’s Strandbeests LEGO builder Jason Allemann created this walking LEGO platform. I watch this video and think of houses in a post-apocalyptic zombie future. Zombies suck at climbing and tend to be slow. Ideally you’d want a fast place to live that was high up.

Of course, your actual anti-zombie house would need to be built from something more robust than LEGO and on a larger scale. I cite this as proof of concept and don’t worry about size-to-weight ratios at all.
