We have reached the end of our 2025 Halloween mask countdown. For our twelfth and final entry, we are not looking at a prop, a monster, or a costume piece, but a genuine work of wearable art that is both beautiful and deeply sinister.
This is the “Delft Blue Porcelain Skull Mask,” an astonishing creation from candymakeupartist.com.

This mask is a masterpiece of contradictions. It takes the form of a human skull, but is decorated in the style of “Delft blue,” the famous blue-and-white floral pottery originating in the Dutch city of Delft. That delicate, traditional aesthetic is painted onto a symbol of death.
As if that were not striking enough, the skull is then impaled and crowned. A brutal, golden crown of thorns wraps around the cranium, while long, sharp golden spikes pierce the cheekbones, extending outwards.

This is not a mask for a casual party. As the user noted, it is a significant art investment, costing nearly 1,000 euros. It’s a high-fashion, high-concept piece, perfect for a masquerade ball, a gallery, or as the ultimate statement in a truly terrifying, avant-garde costume.
It is a breathtaking and unsettling way to end our series.
