Downcrawl plunges you into the Deep, Deep Down. This is a subterranean realm of bizarre ecologies, strange underground societies, and endless caverns. Rather than skipping over travel with a montage, the toolkit helps you generate points of interest, unique encounters, and the literal paths between them on the fly. You might deal with worm tamers, fungal druggists, or outcast sorcerers as you navigate the Bubblemuck or the Crystal Fissure. The newly released Second Edition refines this process so that generation happens live at the table; you only create the details of a strange new place the moment your players need them.
Conversely, Skycrawl takes you up into the Azure Etern. Here, gamemasters send players on serendipitous skyship voyages through whimsical twilights and floating landmasses.
