Jefferson Blunt, through Blunt Brothers Productions, has released a high-octane animated short titled CLANKER on YouTube. The film showcases a brutal conflict between human resistance and a robotic army.

The story unfolds in a war-torn landscape where humans are under constant threat from “clankers”—advanced AI-driven robots with monitor-like heads and lethal weaponry. The narrative emphasises the human cost of this mechanical uprising, featuring intense skirmishes, desperate rescues, and the grim reality of a world on the brink.
Visually, the short is striking, with a distinct animation style that highlights the stark contrast between the organic survivors and the cold, unyielding machines. The film draws inspiration from a variety of sources, including Helldivers, Terminator, Halo, and Warhammer 40k.
Interestingly, the end credits reveal that Jefferson Blunt spent approximately 121 hours animating the project using FlipaClip. The soundtrack, featuring “Tip of the Spear” by Martin O’Donnell and Michael Salvatori, adds a grand, cinematic feel to the action.
