Marsdice has returned to Kickstarter with a new project that combines fidget toys, tabletop accessories, and a touch of Russian Roulette. Their Bullet Dice come in a revolver-style cylinder that doesn’t just store them – it launches them.
We’ve got until the end of January to back the campaign.
The pitch is simple: standard dice are boring. Why roll when you can load, spin, and fire? The set includes six zinc alloy dice (d4 through d20) shaped like bullets. The numbers are engraved on the flat base of each “round,” meaning you read the result where the bullet lands upright.
The launcher itself mimics a revolver cylinder. You load the dice, wind the mechanism, and release the spring-loaded catch to scatter your roll across the table. It also features a ratchet system that gives a satisfying click when spun, which is ideal for those long turns when the wizard is checking spell ranges.
Notably for readers on this side of the pond, the base of the cylinder is engraved with the motto “Courage and Honour”. It’s a small detail, but seeing the correct British spelling of “Honour” on a gun-themed product from Wyoming is a rare and welcome sight. Mind you! That’s only the case in the photographs, and in the text the word is “honor”. Which will it be in production?

The creators do issue a safety warning: “Always aim the launch away from people and fragile objects.” Naturally, this is the first thing most players will likely test.
The campaign has already smashed its funding goal. Backers can pledge $39 (approximately £32) for a single-cylinder and dice set in one of four finishes: Red Copper, Black Nickel, Antique Bronze, or Cobalt Nickel.
Marsdice estimates shipping will begin in May 2026. As always with physical Kickstarter rewards, timelines can slip, but the hardware looks ready to fire.
