The BEYBLADE X World Championship is set to descend upon Tokyo Tower this October, bringing together 33 of the globe’s top Bladers from 21 different nations.
The event, scheduled for October 11-12, 2025, marks the culmination of a summer of national tournaments and will determine the ultimate champion in the birthplace of the Beyblade phenomenon.

Among the international contingent is Elena “ElenaBEY” Songco, a 31-year-old from North Hollywood, California, who will represent the U.S. in the 13+ Open Class. Songco secured her place by winning a Target-sponsored qualifier at Anime Expo in Los Angeles, where she triumphed over 127 other competitors.

For Songco, Beyblade is not just about the thrill of competition, but also about the community it fosters. Her renewed passion for the game began after a childhood friend reintroduced her to it, leading her to participate in monthly tournaments.
The moment I secured my spot in the World Championship was surreal – I never expected to win,”
Songco stated, adding that even those in her life unfamiliar with Beyblade are now excited for her global debut.
The BEYBLADE X World Championship was initially announced in March 2025, with qualifying tournaments held worldwide, including at retailers like Walmart in North America. These tournaments were divided into two classes: Regular Class for ages 8-12 and Open Class for ages 13+.
A representative from ADK Emotions NY Inc. expressed enthusiasm for the upcoming event, highlighting its role as “a global celebration of skill, passion, and community.”
Fans globally can tune into the action via a live stream on the Official English BEYBLADE X YouTube channel. The broadcasts will run from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM JST on both days.
