UK-based tech company Krafted is set to launch the Krafted Couch, a new wireless charging device designed to integrate seamlessly with modern living room furniture. Launching on 9th October, the Krafted Couch aims to provide a convenient and discreet charging solution directly on your sofa arm.
The device offers a dedicated charging spot, eliminating the need for trailing cables or reaching for wall sockets. Its design features an anti-slip silicone ridge to keep it securely in place on a sofa arm, as well as a flexible, flat silicone profile that helps it blend seamlessly into the room’s aesthetics.
Frankly, having your phone charge as you flop on the sofa is a must, and this seems like a sensible way to do it.
Beyond its ergonomic design, the Krafted Couch provides fast-charge wireless output, supporting 15W for iPhone and 10W for Android devices. It is also MagSafe compatible, ensuring easy alignment. The charger includes a USB-C input (9V–2A) and offers multi-speed charging at 15W, 10W, 7.5W, and 5W. A two-metre charging cable is included for flexible placement.

Weighing just 180g and measuring 100mm x 400mm x 11mm, the Krafted Couch is designed to be unobtrusive. It will be available in Deep Blue, Matcha, and Latte colours, chosen to complement interior décor rather than stand out as a consumer electronics product.
The Krafted Couch will retail for £39.99 and can be purchased directly from the Krafted website.
Krafted was founded by serial entrepreneurs Charlie Rudge and Vinal Patel, who conceived the company during a casual conversation about the need for more sustainable tech products. Both Rudge and Patel are dyslexic, and they attribute their unconventional perspective to their ability to approach problem-solving in innovative ways. They describe Krafted not just as a brand, but as “the beginning of a movement,” aiming to challenge the status quo in the tech industry
