Humblewood creators, Hit Point Press, who also made Animated Spells, are back on Kickstarter with another animated project. The project, which wraps on August 21st, is for animated RPG standees.
The community has, in their hundreds, backed HPP’s campaign to create durable monsters and stretch goals are unlocking. You can see more on the pitch page.
Each of the standees has eight frames of looping animation on the front and rear. Perhaps they’re not “living”, but if your players don’t know you have them, then they’re appearance will be all the more dramatic.
Hit Point Press reassures that they’re designed to be used on any TTRPG that uses a 1-inch scale grid, which is standard for D&D, Pathfinder, Savage Worlds, and Gloomhaven.
Since Hit Point Press has some IP of their own, there are Humblewood and (pending on stretch goals) Fool’s Gold sets possible.
The minis are shipped as double-sided lenticular sheets and separate acrylic base sheets, plus PDF versions.

Backers at $18 get one set of “living minis” and can choose their preferred set once shipping rolls around. At this tier, there are also add-ons.
At $32, which is a saving of $4, backers get two sets.
Hit Point Press, then jump to four sets, and those unlock at $42. Then there’s a 7-set deal at $99.
The hero tier is for 10 sets, which sets backers back $129 (and is also $51 cheaper than buying the first tier ten times).
The 20 set, which is $219, is the top tier for people, but there’s also a $500 tier for stores.
People should expect delivery in March 2026 and stores in April, after the backers and that helps avoid the awkwardness of finding a project you backed available in a shop before you have it.
