Lionsgate have just dropped a pretty funny trailer for Good Fortune, starring Keanu Reeves, Seth Rogen, Sandra Oh and Keke Palmer.
Good Fortune is Aziz Ansari‘s directorial debut, but he also wrote and produced the movie – which looks pretty great, actually.
Reeves plays a ‘budget’ guardian angel called Gabriel who, instead of just saving people from accidents caused by texting whilst driving, wants to fulfil a higher purpose.
Here’s what Lionsgate Motion Picture Group Chair Joe Drake previously had to say about the movie:
We have indeed found good fortune with this film. We love the script and believe strongly in Aziz as both a performer and a director.
And when you add in Seth and Keanu – two incredible world-class talents — toplining alongside Aziz, this has the potential to be a very special film for us. We moved quickly to land this project once it was available.

Y’know when you see a trailer that you’re just instantly sold on? I feel this is one of those. And isn’t it great to see Reeves in a comedy role again? Definitely a nice change from the ongoing John Wick saga.
And Good Fortune will be hitting the big screen on 17th October – I’m definitely adding this one to my list!
What do you think of the trailer for Good Fortune? Will you be catching this at the cinema in October? Comment below.
