Nevola Lab is a relatively new Italian tabletop RPG publisher with little to say on its home page. However, the Kickstarter alert page for Holmes & Co is now live.
That’s one of their two teased projects. The other is a Knights Templar RPG.

The 50-page PDF lists Antonello Lotronto (Murder Party) and Valerio Ferzi (Lex Arcana) as the game creators. It has an introduction to the world of Holmes & Co, some of the rules and the short adventure The Golden Key with pre-generated characters.
Those potential characters don’t include Holmes but have Maggie O’Neill, Diana Campbell, Arthur MacLeod, and Ewan Fraser. That sounds like a Scottish group, and Arthur looks a lot like a young Sean Connery. The adventure is actually set here in Edinburgh.
Imagine having a magnifying glass, a camera for documenting the crime scene, or an evidence collection kit: they could be the key to a world of mystery and intrigue, the world of Holmes & Co.!
Holmes & Co. is a roleplaying game that allows you to tackle any detective case from the late 19th century to the present.
With Holmes & Co., players investigate a criminal event, working together to solve the puzzle, collecting clues, interrogating suspects and, above all, reasoning.
In the game, you play a detective out of a a mys tery novel, together with your friends who will play other roles. One of you will have to become the storyteller, the player who knows all the case details and who lead the detectives to the crime scene.
