We’ve a new trailer for Kaitou Queen wa Circus ga Osuki which, if it heads West, will probably be called something like The Phantom Thief Queen Loves the Circus or just “Mirage Queen”.
The Mirage Queen is a thief of whom we know very little but looks fantastic. How little do we know? We can’t even confirm their gender, although the pronoun “She” gets used. Such details as age, nationality and loyalty are certainly beyond our grasp.
What does the thief want? The target is the gem known as Linden’s Rose in this adventure, but the Seven Ring Circus gets it first.
The action anime will be a series of feature-length bound for cinema in Japan. The stories are based on the novels by Kaoru Hayamine and illustrated by K2 Shoukai.
Kaitou Queen wa Circus Osuki is expected to air on the 25th in Tokyo, and then June st in Osaka before a wider nationwide release on June 17th.
It’s directed by Saori Den and has been animated by East Fish Studio.
