Warpath Wall-e and Eve

September 13, 2012 by Andrew Girdwood 1 Comment

The former child friendly robots Wall-E and Eve have had a bit of a rebuild. The famous shoot of green can be see still growing from that old boot and safely held in battle Eve’s protective hand. This is a bit of fantastic engineering skill and geek credit. DJ Sures has made use of the EZ-Builder Robot Control Software and the EZ-B Robot Controller to turn a toy Wall-E into a real Wall-E. The video is well worth a watch. A demo at the start and with a build towards the end. […]

It’s been a while since the Wall-E rush but I think the cute little robot will be with us for a while yet. It certainly helps when talented people use Lego Mindstorms to build remote control transformer Wall-E models, video him in action, combine with a funky track and upload to YouTube. It’s really quite […]

Wall-e Terminator mashup

March 19, 2010 by Andrew Girdwood Leave a Comment

This isn’t even new. This video is dated 2008… but it’s new to me so I wanted to share. Perfectly balanced, this mashup is 50% Wall-e and 50% Terminator and manages to be something greater than the sum of its parts. Now, now, before you question whether this concept could even work; as yourself one […]
