Impressive papercraft: War from Darksiders

March 9, 2013 by Andrew Girdwood Leave a Comment

This impressive piece of papercraft was created by the deviant artist delirium. She has a habbit of posting her creations on Reddit but linking straight through to the image file. This pleases some redditors but it is also a modest thing for an artist to do because it demotes the gallery of images the picture […]

Mega Post: All of today’s Wii U game trailers

September 13, 2012 by Andrew Girdwood Leave a Comment

Today was a big one for Nintendo. They pulled off a live stream preview of the Wii U via Nintendo UK. I was more impressed than I thought I’d be – but my expectations were pretty low. However, it was clear that there would be plenty of titles available at launch and that games like […]

August 17, 2012 by Andrew Girdwood Leave a Comment

Darksiders II is nearly out in the UK. If you’ve an inbox like mine you may have one or three emails from GAME telling you that you have to act now if you want to pre-order and get the limited edition. If you make a last minute dive for the limited edition you get extra […]

Darksiders cosplay: War

April 13, 2012 by Andrew Girdwood Leave a Comment

It’s impossible not to be impressed by this cosplay. This is the work of deviant Artist DonneAnonyme and its simply fantastic. War, one of the four horsemen, is the star of the first Darksiders computer game. This cosplay does the character justice.

A look at the most feared of the four Horsemen

March 14, 2012 by Andrew Girdwood Leave a Comment

This is a sponsored video placement for the new Darksiders computer game. Darksiders followed the Horseman War. Darksiders II leaps to the most feared of the four Horsemen and follows Death himself. Who do you think of when people talk about the four Horsemen? Death is the only rider named in Revelation but is “Death” […]

Darksiders 2 looking impressive

August 19, 2011 by Andrew Girdwood Leave a Comment

THQ’s Darksiders 2 is looking pretty impresive. Despite some clever TV sponsorship in front of geeky TV with interesting looking ads – I never picked up Darksiders. I think it’ll be even harder to avoid the temptation of Darksiders 2. Go Death! Who would have thought we’d follow Death through the realms of angels, demons […]

Darksiders 2: Wrath of War announcement trailer

June 3, 2011 by Andrew Girdwood Leave a Comment

Okay, I’ll admit that Darksiders might not be 100% RPG goodness but there are elements of the genre in there – besides, the mythology and setting of Darksiders appeals to many native geeks. In Darksiders we delt with the Apocalypse, started by War prematurely – or so we thought. There’s a twist there. In Darksiders […]
