If You Want Blood…: A heavy metal campaign under the blood moons

Greedy Gorgon Press, the Cambridge, UK-based creators known for their rock-and-roll approach to TTRPGs, has launched a new campaign that stitches together seven of their standalone adventures into one cohesive, ear-splitting saga.

If You Want Blood… is a supplement designed to turn a series of “lone wolf” excursions into a full-blown heavy metal campaign set beneath the blood moons of Gorgonia.

The premise builds on Greedy Gorgon’s back catalogue, taking adventures like Dragon Carnival, I Fought the Boar, Jailbreak, and Wanted and providing the connective tissue to run them as a single epic narrative. The tone is explicitly “metal,” blending fantasy tropes with a high-energy, pun-filled aesthetic.

In their own words, the team explains their philosophy:

We write adventures that are meant to be enjoyed. We write better puns, more literary descriptions and similes that are so profound they make you want to be a better person. We swear in ways the English language never knew it had the potential or the potency for. We want reading through our adventures to be a joy in itself; we want playing through our adventures to be metal af.”

This “metal af” offering is taking part in Zine Quest.
