Production kicked off this month for Prime‘s live-action Tomb Raider series, and now we have our first look at Sophie Turner in the role she’s been preparing for since LAST FEBRUARY. Damn, girl.
When I first heard Turner would be picking up the famous dual pistols for this role, I wasn’t sure about it. But now I see it, and she looks absolutely incredible and the perfect fit for the role. Just wow.
The ensemble cast joining her includes Sigourney Weaver, Jason Isaacs, Martin Bobb-Semple, Jack Bannon, John Heffernan, Bill Paterson, Paterson Joseph, Sasha Luss, Juliette Motamed, Celia Imrie, and August Wittgenstein.

As I’ve previously reported, Phoebe Waller-Bridge has full creative control over the series, working as creator, writer, executive producer, and co-showrunner (working with co-showrunner and executive producer Chad Hodge). As for directing, that’s Jonathan Van Tulleken role (also serving as executive producer).
The more we hear about this developing series, the more excited we get here at Geek Native. And we’ll post more when we get it!
