Iconic comics’ fan-favourite characters featured on exclusive merchandise at leading UK retailer.
Fans of the long-running British comic 2000 AD have a new destination for official merchandise, as Rebellion, the studio behind the legendary publication, has partnered with Forbidden Planet for an exclusive new product range.

This collaboration brings 2000 AD‘s rich universe to the shelves of the world’s largest cult entertainment retailer. The initial launch includes a variety of clothing, homeware, and accessories, all featuring designs inspired by the comic’s gritty sci-fi aesthetic. Unsurprisingly, the range heavily features Judge Dredd, the comic’s most famous anti-hero. As the stern lawman of Mega-City One, Dredd has been dispensing instant justice since his debut in 1977, becoming a pop culture icon in the process.
The partnership represents a significant move for Rebellion as it seeks to expand the reach of its properties ahead of 2000 AD‘s 50th anniversary in 2027. By partnering with Forbidden Planet, a retailer synonymous with geek culture in the UK, Rebellion aims to make its merchandise more accessible to both longtime readers and new fans.
Victoria Justice, Consumer Products & Ecommerce Director at Rebellion, highlighted the fan-centric approach of this deal.
Our new wave of 2000 AD merchandise with Forbidden Planet is the latest in a series of launches focused on building out fan-first products. Rebellion is working hard to cultivate partnerships with the most trusted and respected entertainment retailers – giving our community more opportunities than ever to engage with their favourite universes. We look forward to future collaboration with Forbidden Planet in 2026 and beyond.”
The new 2000 AD range is now available at Forbidden Planet stores across the UK, including the flagship London Megastore and locations in Bristol and Southampton. For those unable to visit a physical store, the collection is also available for purchase online on the Forbidden Planet website.
