Netflix has revealed the second season of One Piece will be premiering on 10th March, so we can all look forward to checking in with the Straw Hat Pirates as they set sail on their next adventures!
The poster is also pretty cool. It shows Iñaki Godoy’s Luffy on a somewhat chillier-looking plain than we’re used to – is that Drum Island?! Pretty sure it is, making it something that’ll immediately stand out as exciting to hardcore fans.
Season 2 is set to take us into the East Blue Saga’s next chapters, where we’ll see locations such as Loguetown, Reverse Mountain (Twin Capes), Whiskey Peak, Little Garden, and of course, the icy peaks of Drum Island.
What else? Fans can finally look forward to the appearance of a favourite character in doctor Tony Tony Chopper – something that’s been highly anticipated since the live-action show was first announced. We can also expect Dr. Kureha to have a major role this season.
New faces making their One Piece debut include Mikaela Hoover, Rigo Sanchez, Yonda Thomas, James Hiroyuki Liao, Sophia Anne Caruso, Mark Penwill, Anton David Jeftha, Charithra Chandran, Sendhil Ramamurthy, Katey Sagal, Mark Harelik, Daniel Lasker, Camrus Johnson, Jazzara Jaslyn, David Dastmalchian, Werner Coetser, Brendan Murray, Clive Russell, Callum Kerr, Julia Rehwald, Rob Colletti, Ty Keogh, Joe Manganiello, and Lera Abova.
As for the rest of the returning cast, we have Emily Rudd, Mackenyu, Jacob Romero Gibson, Taz Skylar, Morgan Davies, and Jeff Ward, all reprising their respective roles.
