Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures have announced a new cinematic chapter for the global phenomenon Jujutsu Kaisen, with a film titled JUJUTSU KAISEN: EXECUTION scheduled to arrive in UK and Ireland cinemas on 14 November 2025.

The new film will adapt the hugely popular “Shibuya Incident” arc from Gege Akutami’s manga, an intense and emotional battle that fans have been eagerly awaiting to see on the big screen. A new trailer released today offers a glimpse of the high-stakes action, confirming the story will also cover the beginning of the deadly “Culling Game” arc.
The plot sees a veil suddenly descend on the busy Shibuya district during Halloween, trapping civilians with curse users and spirits who are scheming to seal away the world’s strongest jujutsu sorcerer, Satoru Gojo. As chaos erupts, protagonist Yuji Itadori and his allies are drawn into an unprecedented conflict.
Following the events in Shibuya, the story escalates as the villainous Noritoshi Kamo initiates the Culling Game. This sets the stage for a fateful confrontation between two of Satoru Gojo’s most beloved students, as Special Grade sorcerer Yuta Okkotsu is assigned the grim task of executing Yuji Itadori. This film will serve as a kickoff to the anime’s third season.
The Jujutsu Kaisen anime series is currently available to stream on Crunchyroll.
