Attendees at this weekend’s Tabletop Scotland have the first opportunity to buy a physical copy of Vomin’s Void: 100 Magical Wonders, the popular system-neutral supplement from London-based designer and artist Morware.

Previously available as a PDF, the book’s physical convention debut brings its collection of quirky magical items to the tabletop in tangible form. The system-neutral book aims to provide GMs with a collection of 100 magical items described as “mostly useless, but sometimes deadly and very occasionally brilliant”. The collection has been favourably compared to the classic Deck of Many Things, but with the key difference that its items are designed not to break a campaign.
The supplement’s premise invites GMs to add a touch of unpredictable fun to their games, asking, “Have you ever longed to spin the wheel of fate and see where it brings you? Are you a sucker for a mystery box?”

The creator, Morware, who describes herself on her website as a “stinky little weirdo who makes stuff,” is present at the Scottish convention showcasing her range of what she calls “cute and beautiful paper games.”
Also available at her stall is Terrible Time: A Monster Party, another system-neutral roleplaying game. In this title, players find themselves having a terrible time at a party and are faced with the choice of either saving their friends from mortal danger or abandoning them to ensure their own survival.
There’s also a beautiful set of character sheet notepads.

For those unable to make it to Edinburgh, the digital edition of Vomin’s Void is available from Morware‘s Itch.io store. While she typically sells physical copies of her games via Etsy, the online shop is temporarily closed for the duration of the convention.
