A new narrative-driven battle pack for Corvus Belli’s fantasy wargame Warcrow is on the horizon. The Spanish publisher, known for the popular sci-fi skirmish game Infinity, has announced Song of the Dormant, a two-player introductory set slated for release in August 2025.
The expansion delves into the lore of Lindwurm, a world stirring with renewed magic as the eponymous star, Warcrow, draws near. Song of the Dormant centres on a clash over the Wheel of Mathalazz, an ancient and powerful artefact.
The battle pack brings two new factions to the forefront of the conflict in Lindwurm. The first, the paladins and priestesses of Feudom, are devout followers of the Moon Goddesses, intent on protecting their lands. Key characters for this faction include Verena of Aurtigard, a High Priestess, and Morgane of Jauffret Syzigian, an Inquisitor. They are supported by a Knight of the Sacred Relic and four Feudom Guisarmiers.

Opposing them are the Scions of Yaldabaoth, described as the “Chosen of the Flesh Architect.” These former elves have embraced forbidden magic, using it to modify their own bodies and create arcane constructs. Their forces are led by Uruk, He Who is Without Prejudice, and include the sinister-sounding Needle, Breath, and four Intacts.
The Warcrow Battle Pack: The Song of the Dormant will contain 14 miniatures, the core rules, exclusive lore, a narrative campaign booklet with branching scenarios, objective markers, tokens, a game mat, and terrain elements. A trailer for the new battle pack showcases the new miniatures and hints at the conflict to come.
Corvus Belli has also announced a “Warcrow: Beyond Song of the Dormant” pack, which will add six more miniatures to the range, including Mace Escorts, Amaury Boissonade, The Anointed, and Irkalla, The Maw.

The pre-purchase for The Song of the Dormant is scheduled to run from July 28th to August 4th.
