Hulu dropped an exciting first trailer for The Testaments earlier today, picking up the story five years after The Handmaid’s Tale, and following a group of young women – including Hannah – in a disturbing coming-of-age tale.
Chase Infiniti stars in this adaptation of Margaret Atwood’s sequel novel that shows us just what happens next to Hannah, and her friends as they navigate a brutal and harsh totalitarian society… helped along the way by Aunt Lydia (played by Ann Dowd).
The trailer, set to the tune of Dreams by The Cranberries, gives us a glimpse of the chilling setting these girls are expected to grow up in… and Hannah starts to realise just how skewed everything is when a new girl (Lucy Halliday) arrives on the scene. Can they change things?
Other cast include Mabel Li, Amy Seimetz, Brad Alexander, Rowan Blanchard, Mattea Conforti, Zarrin Darnell-Martin, Eva Foote, Isolde Ardies, Shechinah Mpumlwana, Birva Pandya, and Kira Guloien.
