A figure skating duo have gone viral after performing a pretty badass Mortal Kombat routine during the Winter Olympics 2026.
Georgia’s Luka Berulava and Anastasiia Metelkina gave probably one of the most memorable moments from the Winter Olympics by dressing up as Mortal Kombat fighters Sub-Zero and Kitana, complete with the music. It’s absolutely perfect.
You can watch the full routine from the Winter Olympics right here – and there’s also the same routine recorded from the ISU European Championships last month on YouTube:
As someone who absolutely adores watching figure skating – and a geek – I can’t get enough of this incredible pair! I hope they go on to do more entertaining and uniquely original routines based off of geeky nostalgia pop culture references.
I don’t know… first, there was Street Fighter makeup, then Mortal Kombat figure skating… what next, Tekken flower arranging?! I’m here here for it.
