120 tracks in mighty Skyrim musical mashup

April 4, 2012 by Andrew Girdwood Leave a Comment

Step forward Lindsey Stirling and Peter Hollens. We’ve seen Stirling already in her Zelda video but Hollens is new to Geek Native. April 4, 2012 by Andrew Girdwood Leave a Comment

The team behind the anime Space Battleship Yamato have released a long trailer for their sci-fi epic. We’re not talking 2, 3 or even 5 minutes long. We’re talking about a 10 minute clip from the show. The first two episodes of the series will actually air in cinemas around Japan from the end of […]

MMORPG anime Sword Art Online gets extended tailer

April 4, 2012 by Andrew Girdwood Leave a Comment

When Geek Native wrote about Sword Art Online back in February there was some debate about the premise. The game – a “VRMMORPG” if you want – is one where you die in real life if you die in the game. How does that work? The trailer still doesn’t explain so we’re left to speculate. […]

Is geeky house missing that certain something? What about some raw power? Okay; dark side of the Force power… but, you know, seven feet of deadly power. If you have $6,000 handy then you can invite that special dark side man into your abode. Just a model, of course, real Sith Lords aren’t into popping […]

Origami monsters

April 2, 2012 by Andrew Girdwood Leave a Comment

Two facts for you. First fact: origami posts are popular on Geek Native. Second fact: monster posts are also popular on this blog. It seems natural then that Geek Native posts some video instructions for some origami monsters. The word of caution is that these monsters are rather more complex than a paper plane when […]
