Do you this soundtrack sounds rather more fantasy than the last ones? Sure; it’s entirely familiar, but the tweaks remind me of a traditional fantasy RPG for some reason!

Perhaps it’s the same sense of thoroughness that perusaded the game makes to be so inclusive that also perusaded them to release so much in-game footage.

Is this going to be a story that suggests evil would get bored if good was gone? Boo. All it takes is some imagination and people to terrorise!

A sign that a game is doing well is that the DLC starts to roll. If you’ve got access to the Xbox Live Marketplace then you’ll be bale to download The Signal. The poor guy just isn’t having an easy time of it all.

Is that Mr Wake in the TV set?

Just to explain; season 8 picks off where TV season 7 finishes but as a comic. In fact, you can get the motion adapted comic from iTunes. The pricing isn’t too bad; $1.99 each, or $29.99 for a season pass. I’m just counting the days until Android pads and a vibrant Android comic book marketplace. I bet we can look towards a Sony – Google tie up for that one; much as they will work together on Google TV.

Later on you’ll be able to get the first 19 episodes bundled together on a DVD. That’s due out in January 2011. It’s not clear whether those DVDs will make it out of the United States.

The season 8 comic is pretty robust. We’ve a range of great authors, including Josh Whedon, who’ve contributed. There’s Brian K. Vaughn, Drew Goddard, Jeph Loeb, Jane Espenson, Doug Petrie, and Steven S. DeKnight.

You’ll also remember just how many Slayers there were at the end of season 7. You can well expect the season 8 baddies to be tough as nails. Xander, Willow and some of the usual faces are also back and in full force. There should be just about enough here for the Buffy die hards. Probably.

The gang at Dark Horse are the folks behind the steering wheel on this one. They’re not doing stupid things with the license.

The problem here is that Funimation doens’t appear to have the anime license for Europe. Not even English speaking United Kingdom.

If you’re not in the States (perhaps Canadians will get lucky) then you’ll encounter the dreaded geo-tarding on the anime trailer.

Boo! Hiss.

However, you can still watch this – Sengoku Basara Samurai Heroes. This is the trailer for the computer game and you can see it looks to be very silly indeed. It’ll be out on the PlayStation 3 and the Wii.

If one of the voice sound familiar then that mght be Johnny Yong Bosch. He voicers Ichigo in the official English dub of Bleach.

I’ve left a comment moping about the lack of UK preview. I doubt Funimation can do anything about it.

This is a Warren Ellis scripted production – I mean; it’s really his thing, isn’t it. Mr Transhumanist. He’s the guy who had a version of Doctor Doom take over the United States and back in 2004 he worked on Iron Man under a temporary but exclusive contract.

This is one of those Marvel anime projects that are being put together by Madhouse (Japanese, btw) and I think their track record is pretty good. Should be interesting to see how this pans out.

It doesn’t seem that long ago we had the first Armoured Adventures trailer out.

THQ and Games Workshop are really leaving no set of gamers in the dark. Space Marine will ship for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Windows PC.

The news here is that the game was previously going to be console only – now it’s coming to the PC.

Good news to PC only gamers, huh?

Players wil get to play the part of a Space Marine; that means ranged combat as well as intense melee. Gameplay kicks off straight way as the Space Marine has to fend off an invasion from brutal Orks.

Warhammer 40k fans will know that Forge World planets are hugely important to humanity as its here that the greatest weapons for the Empire are created.

General Manager of Relic Entertainment said;

“The loyal PC audience is incredibly important to us here at Relic so we are delighted to be able to announce the PC version of the game.”

Not to be left out of the press relese, Travis Plane, Vice President of Global Brand Management added;

“Delivering great content the fans want to play is the key goal in the core games division at THQ so we are pulling out all of the stops to make this the best possible game for PC and console audiences alike.”

The game is due out in early 2011. The Space Marine site is already up; with an age check so that seems to suggest the content will be brutal.

Cruely, Spartacus star Andy Whitfield has cancer. We hope he can beat it. Season 2 – Spartacus: Gods of the Arena is set before Spartacus arrives at the ludus.

Batiatus, played by Hannah, is neither the head of the family nor the ludus. Gannicus is the lead gladiator and the House of Batiatus finds itself fighting to earn the respect of Capua. Gannicus must survive to keep his place in the ludus and become the champion in all of Capua.

Season 2 is expected to hit the states in January 2011.

In the mean time we shouldn’t forget Andy Whitfield. Hopefully he’s doing as well as his statement via Starz suggests. In it he says;

This trailer really does seem to be all about Street Fighter too. Just look at the characters they’ve selected for this.

That makes sense when we remember that Namco are working on a seperate Tekken x Street Fighter game. It’ll be interesting to see what sort of style they’ve gone for there.

It’s also worth noting the appearance of Megaman at the end of the trailer. Perhaps more evidence that CapCom is ramping up the Megaman universe franchise. Face it; in today’s world of big budget comic book movies a Megaman film seems more likely than a pac-man one!
