Kareem Abdul-Jabbar is a name American readers might know from the NBA but as it happens Abdul-Jabbar is a Mycroft Holmes fan and back in 2015, with Anna Waterhouse, he published his first novel Mycroft Holmes. The story about Sherlock’s elder brother currently has 4.5 stars aggregate reviews over on Amazon UK.

Now the polymath has teamed up with Titan Comics and best-selling novelist Raymond Obstfeld to bring a five-part comic series to life. In the series, the smartest man in England finds himself caught up with a secret organisation in the heart of the British government, working for Queen Victoria, to deal with a madman who has futuristic weaponry in his arsenal.
