The Tales from the Borderlands trailer says hi

Tales from the Borderlands is an episodic adventure based on Borderlands. It’s due before the end of the year for Windows, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. The development has been a partnership between Gearbox Software, 2K and Telltale Games.

If you’re familiar with the episodic format Telltale uses for The Walking Dead and The Wolf Among Us you’ll know what to expect here. Players will make choices and take actions that will have significant effects later on in the story.

As this is a Borderlands adventure there’s going to be the gunplay you would expect too but this is mainly a point-and-click adventure game. As the trailer makes clear; this is set after Borderlands 2.
