Alchemy: Transforming the elements into characters

What’s the strangest source of inspiration you’ve ever used for a character? What about one of the elements? Kaycie D is an illustrator who has taken this to a whole new level. For her senior thesis project she’s taken the entire periodic table and transformed them into characters.

For the project, Elements: Experiments in Character Design, Kaycie used the properties of the chemicals to build a story and personality for the characters.
