GM Inspiration: Aztec mummy

Need to terrorise your players with an undead horror they’ll recognise … and yet have it be worryingly different?

Geek Native does like to share RPG ideas so let me try and address the challenge. What about an Aztec mummy? Whether your game world has an Egypt or Mexico (style country) or not it may still have mummies. Most of the time the default is the Egyptian style mummy but it doesn’t need to be.

This fantastic picture from Dylan Pierpont is inspiration for the alternative. It shows just how familar and yet different this sort of undead enemy could be.
