Star Trek: TNG makeup test reel

Before any show starts filming in earnest they’ll test the look of the characters; different hair styles, clothes and accessories. In the case of Star Trek: The Next Generation this also means different eye colours for androids and visors for Geordi.

YouTube calls this “creepy TNG test footage”. Do you agree? There’s certainly some awkward hair styles.

    The only thing that’s creepy is Marina Sirtis’ hair at 2:42 and 2:50. That’s more terrifying than a whole fleet of Borg cubes!
